Their uniforms identify some groups. This Girl Scout hat is a representation of a group and their ideals. Mildred Loretta Wagner Abbe (b. Dec. 5, 1914 in Chicago, IL, married Robert E. Abbe in Chicago in 1940, d. March 5, 2008), wore this as a child in Chicago Illinois and images of her dressed in her uniform were given by the Museum to the Southwest Archives.
